Join Yelissa, Eunice, KoKo, Michelle, and Jenn in this amazing conversation
In this panel, some of our online youth had a conversation about how they manage their time and, at the same time do everything in God’s way. If you are interested in listening to others experiencing the same experience as you, what are you waiting for? Check it out!
“How do I have a relationship with God as a teenager?” “I feel bad for not reading my Bible today!” “Why is it so hard to trust God?” “Is He even listening?” Thoughts that go through our minds day after day. When we are caught up with a lot of school work, sports, activities, etc. while at the same time trying to do things in God’s way, we get so overwhelmed and start feeling like our mistakes are “too big” to give to God or like we are failing Him. Having a relationship with God does not mean that you have to have a perfect daily Bible routine or that the storms won’t come, But God will be there to guide you. The big question “how do I have a relationship with God?” From my experience, I would say that there’s not a single recipe. Sometimes, it all starts with a little conversation (yes, as simple as that!) Jesus wants to be your friend, He wants you to be honest no matter how overwhelmed you are, just tell him how you’re feeling and what makes you happy or sad. Because best of all, he fully comprehends you. He’s always there to hear from you.
“What if I don’t feel motivated to pray or don’t have time to read my Bible?”
Ask God for help! You don’t need to be all shiny to receive His help, let Him turn your mess into Grace, ask Him for guidance. Isn’t it a relief to know that no matter how far you feel from God, He’s still working behind the scenes!
